A REPORT IN The Trentonian reported Danny Glover's speech at an anti-death penalty forum at Princeton University. According to the article, the multi-millionaire star of all four bloody 'Lethal Weapon' movies said, "I've been an advocate for peace my whole life, but one of the main purveyors of violence in this world is this country."

"Yes! Yes! When I say the death penalty is inhumane, I mean whether that person is in a bird cage, or it's bin Laden. It gets even worse," Glover continues, "This week, Bush implemented a military tribunal which will make it easier for us to execute. We must stand vigilant against Bush in these times and work with the abolitionists."

In a subsequent interview with Rita Cosby on Fox News, Glover denied making the Princeton statements, saying, "I did not say that. I quoted Martin Luther King. Martin Luther King said in his speech 'A Time to End the Silence' in 1968 that he meant that, that he said that about the U.S., and I did quote Martin Luther King."
